Brian F. Cootauco
Attorney Brian F. Cootauco is dedicated to providing comprehensive, highly personalized estate planning counsel to individuals, couples and business owners. As the firm’s founder, he holds the highest standard of client service and lawyer accessibility.
After graduating from Elon University, Brian served as a marketing resource to our nation’s third largest mutual fund company, T. Rowe Price. During his tenure with the firm, Brian found a need to better serve individuals with the ever-increasing complexities of estate planning. He pursued his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan. Upon graduating, Brian clerked for the Honorable Thomas J. Bollinger of Maryland’s Third Judicial Circuit for additional training. After his clerkship, Brian worked as an associate attorney at a botique law office in Baltimore City with a special interest in estate law. In addition to operating his private practice, Brian consults financial advisors and their clients on estate planning matters.
Brian is an active member of WealthCounsel, a renowned national estate planning organization; the American Bar Association; Maryland Bar Association; Maryland Trust and Estate Section, Maryland Solo Section, Baltimore County Bar Association and the Gilman School Alumni Association.
